2009 here at last. and what better way to kick off the new year than by racing with hundreds of peeps.
for those who have raced in the previous matches nothing much has changed. for those who have never participated in this event the idea is simple. 1 match of 10 tracks raced by multiple clans with teams of 5 players* each. the team with the most points at the end win. the player with the most points at the end can gloat.
the last match had 22 clans and nearly 100 racers ( Monster Movie ).
the match results from that event ( Monster Stats )
this time im aiming for alot more! if your interested in playing in this unique event then i'll need only a couple of bits of info.
1. your clans name
2. your forum address
3. your match organiser (or someone i can talk to who will represent your whole clan).
4. your contact details (MSN, email).
right with the intro over heres the info bit.
Game: TM forever
match date: Saturday 11th April 2009 (yes i know its the night you go out and get trollied but if we have teams from around the world competing then the timing needs to spot on so that its early for some and late for others but never interupting school or work).
track release: 28th March 2009. tracks will be available for practice 2 weeks before the event.
Start time: will have to work this out once we know how far peeps will be coming from.
Mode: TIME ATTACK
Time Limit / track: 5 minutes
Winning condition in TA: overall points at the end of the match. (eg 10 players points are as follows 10 for 1st, 9 2nd, 8 3rd etc)
Tracks: due to the amount of teams potentially racing, tracks will be chosen for us by a member of TMX. 10 tracks split into 3 FS, 3 tech, 3 normal, 1 Special.
Match location: w4 match server in the uk
*Teams: you can field multiples of 5 as long as the team list is submitted before race day. any extras can race for the fun of it but wont contribute to the teams overall score.
Teams involved: will update this bit as the teams confirm. currently: w4, FG, DRUKR, NF, UKGP, xXx, Aurora, UPS, Velox, uBp, TMV, TET19, DFC, UNPROFOR, NGR, iDac, FCG, EF, DS, Lowbirds,
Match Organiser: Scala (msn or email: ttpuk@hotmail.com)
i will be running this match from both the TMX forum and the wooty forum (http://www.wooty4us.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=50746#post50746) so if you cant catch me personally ask at either location and i'll get right back to you.

Depending on numbers, it might be good to do an early evening and late evening match, keep both the dads and kids happy.

| Why so far away? Why not have the Match in march... Hand out the tracks to test on Feb 20th. I realize you want to give a chance for as many teams to join... But 2 months is a hell of a long time lol. |
