Hello fellow community!

I will summarise my last post real quick for you to explain why i created this one. I proposed a community idea which quite a lot of people liked here, we are making a track campaign for all the players who want to start and learn a track style on tmn(f). I think this will be really useful for players starting out different styles of driving, and it is a nice opportunity to take part in a community project.

This project will consist of 5 different levels like nadeo's campaign which you can find in your tmn(f) game. We will have 3 maps per difficulty, meaning that we will have 15 maps in one style all together and 75 different maps in this campaign, so hopefully everyone who wants to build a map will get a place easier than in tmx's traditional CCP that occurs every year.

Building Rules
If you wish to make a map for this campaign, please concider the next important points:

»Difficulty of your map
, if you want to build an easier map please sign up to the A, B or possibly C section of the campaign, if you wish to make a harder map please select the C, D or E part of the campaign.

»The length of your map, players who are starting out will be happier and more motivated if they can complete the map therefore the easier maps should be shorter than the harder maps. I suggest Section A to be around 20-30 seconds, B around 25-35, C around 30-40 D 35-45 and E 40-50
(Note: The length for Rpg maps doesn't apply, and ofc feel free to extend or go over the time limits i suggested as they are only suggestions to keep the builders on the right track of building )

»The huntability of each map should have a good factor, we dont want maps that depend on randomness of bugs.
Maps can be uploaded to beta area (this is recommended for other players to help out and tell you if anything doesnt quite work out)

Map Names
A few of you have already finished some maps () and have been asking me how you should name them. Here is the format, Let's say you have fullspeed B03, here is what it would look like this:

To go that extra step we are going to put the ending of the number and letter of the map into the colour difficulty where:
A is white ($fff)
B is green ($0f0)
C is blue ($00f)
D is red ($f00)
E is black ($000)

So if you have FullspeedB03 your code for the name should look like this:

If you wish to sign up, please post a reply here stating which section you would like to enter into, please be precise which spot you would like to take, the list can be found below showing which spots havent been taken parted with a , the spots taken with the author's tmx account name, and maps completed with author's name +

If you finish your map please send me a pm titled " (your name) TDA maps" just so that I can quickly find your maps in my pm box

I have one question: does harder map mean harder to finish or just hard to get a good time? nadeo maps are all quite easy to finish

@Baba, there isnt really a deadline yet, we're building maps for a group of styles*, but really if would be nice to finish this somewhere at the beginning of june/july, but we will see how long it takes for all the maps to be built

@trian, it kinda means both in a way, more tricks and harder to finish, you wouldnt really want something that is impossible to finish at A01 of fullspeed But ofc that decision is up to you whether you want to make a hard to finish E03 or a huntable E03
Btw, It's always a good thing to have an easy map to play and hard to master, personally i struggled on some nadeo maps to get author medals

Damn Disco will be on fire making maps!

(x = letter || N = number )
What's the max copper cost / mood (I think sunrise and day are definitly the best, then sunset and night by far the worst) / scenery / MediaTracker (intro for a short preview / GPS so our students know how do drive)?

but I got a better idea: since it's the last FS I thought it would be nice to have a "grande finale" where you can use every trick you've learned to get the best time ^^

1) Names of maps will be nadeo style (i.e FullspeedA01, TechA01, SpeedTech01, DirtA01, Rpg01)
2) There isnt a max copper cost but keep it reasonable, we dont really want 8kcc for a map I suggest 5kcc at the most, but again, keep it reasonable.
3) Choose which ever mood you want.

5) Intro/outro is optional, however i do want everyone to include a GPS run as a hint to show how to drive the map, it will be really useful.

@Trian good idea with using each trick in the E maps

@Disco Go for it, upload to Beta Area!

I'm really looking forward to all these maps guys
