Hey ,

Now, a while ago, our lord and saviour tomek released a new Unlimiter version with a few new, really kewl features, thanks for that dude <3
So i started joking around with them and ended up setting the booster multiplier to an extraordinary high level; 9000 ( not over 9000, but 9000 ).
Well, this was the birth of boostermania

I postponed this map for a really long time until I finished it last week because Labomba got angry, haha

Now, I hope you enjoy this small map, two more pf's are in build, no idea when I will upload them tho

Please note that you need Unlimiter in order to play this map correctly (0.42 or above)
There is a ~90% chance that this map will work, because the block triggering is a bit buggy and can variate by a few miliseconds, just get a 1.93 at the first CP and you're good to go

Well, to clarify some things:
Yes this technique has much more potential,
No, this map was never meant to be taken seriously, I just made the booster multiplier so extremely high that it's almost impossible to actually use a speed block without getting thrown away, i just wanted to make a "Carrape-Map".

And I agree, PF-Mapping gets a bit too easy with these Unlimiter functions, that's why many people just don't do it, I still prefer Instadium PFs over anything else.

So I just hope some of you had it's fun with this map.

I have much more respect for tracks where the builder can create those bugs by pressing left forward and back in certain sequences... this could have been a lot better executed and looks even rushed...
how long did you actually worked on this?

PFs still require tons of work so it's just positive if it gets easier to build them (unless you want to maintain the "elite" status which PF maps seem to have)

I think i might try to build a fast smooth and stunty press backward, i might just set the boosts too 150%-200% so thats not like this

EVENTUALLY, it might be quite cool to use for creating backwards maps, if it works ^^ Anyone out to try that? Cuz I can't install Unlimiter properly

i dont like maps where i need to download some hacks to play. unlimiter maps are fine as long as i dont need programs.
thats only reason why i dont award this. this looks good but because i cant play it, i dont award it.

Also - this isn't hack when everyone with unlimier can have changed properties on map where map author predicts that type of changes...

But I know - with your point of view ManiaPlanet is 10000x better than forever + unlimiter - yeah...

what the **** is wrong with you lovva? unlimiter has been around for years and you simply need to unzip it to your game folder and use the red car icon to launch the game normally, takes 5 mins to get it work and never need to worry about it again (if new version arrives just overwrite the old files with the new ones)

Tbh it's fair trade. You can't play this map without unlimiter, but it's a good map nonetheless.
His maps are all playable without unlimiter, and you see where the rest of this is going, right?
