Hello user,

I haven't put actual effort into a fullspeed track for two years. But playing some of the recent tracks on this site on I also felt like the days of my favourite fullspeed style were long gone. Those track, built by guys like   Pat or   vneck - two of the builders who inspired me the most - with relatively high speed, smooth jumps and drops, a great flow, no unnecessary speedslides, tons of little possible tricks to gain time, and last but not least, something that can turn a nice little track into a masterpiece : a beautiful scenery/atmosphere completed by some MT-work.

That's why I tried to make, at my own level, when I opened the editor a couple weeks ago. A quality fullspeed track that I'd enjoy playing. I've already given it a try twice some years ago, and you can see the result by yourself : "forever alone°" and "forever alone 2°". I personall find it interesting to compare those three tracks since you can see a clear evolution in my building style, regarding both the route and the scenery.

Now about the track you - I assume - are about to play. I do think I achieved the goal I had in mind and I really enjoy playing it. In fact, I've hunted more than an hour to set a good AT when I usually don't spend more than 10 minutes, and I absolutely loved it. I tried to make it not too hard, and as a result the turns aren't too tight and give a little room for error, and the jumps don't require extra precision. It's basically a representation of how I enjoy fullspeed these days. The scenery is also something I worked hard on. It was quite difficult to adapt my ground based style to larger platform areas but somehow it worked out well. It's very heavy, being above 7k in sunset mood. I'll probably just make a light version for online play.

Hey Switch!! WAKE UP!!!.......if you are in a position to chose between the two, what would you prefer:
1. 10 replays and 0 awards, or
2. 0 replays and 29 + awards? other combinations of 1 and 2

No need to scream MoonShadow, I'm awake an I can hear you just fine.To answer your question, both options look impossible anyway except for some very special cases (see : Final Enigma) and this track isn't special in that regard. 29 awards would be quite sick in the current state of things so I think I'd pick that.

I like the first part and then comes a quiet thin wallride. I don't like wallrides much.
And I don't know why, but the pole wich you drive below at 37-38 sec in GPS is annoying me

it's a nice map for sure, but honestly it just feels like your usual style, I really love it but it kinda gets a bit repetitive for me

Smooth, well-rounded map in a very coherent and fitting style, where each part flows nicely into the next one. I enjoyed the combination of smooth drops in the start and the offroad part in the middle especially. Splendid scenery, as always. Time might follow later

Oh come on, you could've at least told me that you already released it, now I'm for a douche coming this late xD As I aid before, the flow of this map is wonderful and the scenery is just amazing, reminds of some high-level oldie SD-less maps ^^

The line feels somewhat forced or unintuitive at some points, I feel like I crashed on some spots way too often where I shouldn't. If you manage to find the right line however, it is really nice, smooth and enjoyable. Solid Switch style.
