Thanks to   shortz.esu for hosting this year's CCP again.


Hello and welcome to our contribution to this year's CCP.
It's always a pleasure to be part of this project and enjoy all the little presents given out by the everyone.

What to expect here:

A rather tricky transtech including some slides, different surfaces, sculptures and all that stuff.
It's surrounded by a medium scenery set in evening mood.
The track also includes an intro and a GPS.

Now, we hope you enjoy our little gift to and don't be shy to post comments and / or awards.

Fun little story, we actually had the same name as Magik's CCP track Snowbound which, of course, coincidentally was released only one day before ours...
So we had to come up with a new name right before the release

Anyways, we wish you an early Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Classic & stylish track
I hate that I love hunting these kind of tracks, with small jumps, bumps and transitions
Just put too much effort in it and it becomes frustrating

I was happy with my time untill I saw the replays here...

I'm not really feeling the start, but apart from that I love it
That last slide flows well, but is tricky. Especially with that exit, it just triggers my 'I want to hunt this'-mode more
And me being an inconsistent driver adds to the frustrations I have

Oh well..
I will watch some replays and hunt this again later

pretty cool to play, especially in TA (solo mode) since you kinda have to restart a bunch of times until you get a good first segment (I mean getting a better start than just PFing) which is fine, this is what CCP is about, isn't it?! TA FTW ^^ ... but I do have to address some other things, like the scenery and the ending

first point, I think there's too much scenery, it's a bit overwhelming and crowded, pushing you down instead of allowing you to breath in an out, in a rhythm that goes well with the rhythm of the track itself ... (ofc, all this is highly debatable) but scenery should revolve around focal points (the fewer the better) and the looks of the track should vary from light to heavy stuff, etc etc you get what I mean ... my point would be, it's always good to step back, even go away for a couple hours/days, and take a look at your work again, see it with fresh eyes, and don't be afraid to cut something out if it doesn't help the whole...

and the other thing, the last road jump before the finish, it doesn't work well with the speed you can get from the last drift, the faster players will overshoot the landing and won't get early grip on that last road, which will punish them with a significant time loss compared to slower players that get a perfect early landing on that road ... (ofc, this is again debatable) you could see this as part of hunting, so not a big deal ... which is true, but I do think you could have made that work for all players without introducing that "punishment" factor

anyways, I don't want this criticism to be taken too harshly, it's not a huge complaint or anything like that, it's just something to think about ... GG
